
Ethiopian Airlines has confirmed the conversion of options for six Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft into firm orders. The newly ordered 787-9 aircraft will bolster the airline’s Addis Ababa-based network and cater to the growing demand for long-haul flights.
CEO Mesfin Tasew emphasized that this order aligns with the airline’s sustainable growth strategy, highlighting that fleet expansion with next-generation aircraft will enhance operational efficiency and improve passenger comfort.
